The Lactate Pro is fully approved by the FDA and is the only lactate test system that is classified as a Waived test by CLIA. The Lactate Pro is the only portable lactate analyzer to be validated for medical use in the USA (extensive clinical trial was carried out at the Harvard Children's Hospital in Boston).
Insert the test strip into the strip inlet of the meter. With only 5 microL of blood and simple operation, Lactate Pro provides accurate blood lactate level in 60 seconds. Lactate Pro adopts the electrochemical measurement method utilizing enzyme reaction. The operation has been further simplified. As little as 5 microL (approximately 2mm diameter drop) of blood is enough for a measurement. Furthermore, the wiping of excess blood and other troublesome preparation are not required. Measurements are completed in a mere 60 seconds. The automatic aspiration of blood greatly reduces the risk of human error, and thus provides accurate blood lactate level without involving any manual operation.
